This is my favorite time of year. I love the weather, the colors, and the candy! I also love getting together with the girls in my family. This year we thought it would be fun to do a “witches party”. I hosted and, thanks to Oriental Trading Company , I had the supplies needed to host a spooky party.
Now, I am going to say this before I even start, I had the party in our unfinished basement on purpose because it was a little spookier than the upstairs. The poor lighting added to the spookiness but, on the computer, it is not Pinterest perfect!!! So, that being said, here is what we did.
Every guest was asked to wear a witch hat and bring a snack to share. My cousin, who’s idea it was for the party, and I brought the soup. I got all of the plates, napkins, cups, forks, spoons, table cloths, drop cloths, back drops, games, hats, and crafts from the Oriental Trading company. I love their quality and there prices are so awesome.
As the guests arrived we played a witches hat ring toss. When you got a ring on the hat, you got a craft as your prize.
Selfie stations are my favorite thing ever. This backdrop was so perfect, HOWEVER, I should have made it bigger since we had such a big group. There was a lot more material on the roll but, oh well, we still had a good time.
